For most Philadelphia fans, the 1950 Phillies was the most pleasant of surprises because it was the only team over a sixty-year span to make the World Series. From 1916 through 1975, the Phillies posted a total of fourteen winning seasons including the Cinderella 1950 Whiz Kids. Presented is a fine testament to the 1950 National League Champions, a commemorative black bat. The Louisville Slugger stick presents well in approximate (EX-MT) condition. The bats feature the facsimile signature or block stamped names of all members of the teams next to the center branding including Hall of Famers Richie Ashburn and Robin Roberts. A fine collectible for Philadelphia baseball fans.
