Just one year shy of championship glory, the Phils had their ups and downs in 1979, including a shake-up at the helm from Danny Ozark to Dallas Green. Luzinski was coming off four straight All Star selections, as well as being the 1978 recipient of the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award for his philanthropic work in the Philadelphia community. Living up to his "Bull" nickname, he remained one of the strongest, most powerful sluggers in the game, regularly launching moon shots into the upper decks of senior-circuit ballparks. Luzinski's Adirondack 35", 34.5-oz. gamer is uncracked, shows light use and features a bold "9-10" signature. Auction LOA from JSA. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
