With a 56-game hitting streak, three MVP trophies and nine World Series rings to his credit, Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio is a fitting subject to just about any baseball-related tribute. This pair of items from 1941 pay tribute to that magical year. Includes: 1) 8-1/2 x 6-1/2" 1941 Joe DiMaggio Type I Original News Photo: PSA/DNA encapsulated "Authentic" photograph of DiMaggio in the Yankee clubhouse holding up "goose egg" hand symbol to indicate the end of his streak. The photograph is in approximate (VG-EX) condition due to unobtrusive creasing. Note: The bottom edge appears to have some brown paper affixed to it, more noticeably on reverse, but also visible on the obverse and 2) June 15, 1941 ticket stub: encapsulated and declared "Authentic" by PSA. Not given a technical grade due to writing on the bottom that notes the score. Presents (VG) with slightly uneven tear on bottom. Comes from game #28 in DiMaggio's streak.
