Bobby Grich had a solid seventeen year career as a second baseman, excellent in the field and underrated at the plate. Grich is the subject of this 1970 signed game-issued Baltimore Orioles home jersey. The white flannel Wilson size 44 "vest-style" shirt features light game wear and has a manufacturer tag on the front left tail, underneath which is stitched "1970". The inside collar is signed by Grich ("7-8") in blue Sharpie". The front of the jersey has "Orioles 16" in orange-on-black twill in the same fashion as "16" appears on reverse. "GRICH" appears on the reverse in black; black and orange braid decorates the collar and the sleeves. Comes with a Phil Wood LOA, which states that Grich likely did not use the uniform, as he debuted late in the 1970 season, after they were no longer circulating, but that the jerseys themselves are very rare, with only about a dozen having seen the market up until this point (only a single set was produced).
