Plucked from the bumper crop that annually yielded marquee talent to its parent club, second baseman Davey Johnson fit perfectly into the Oriole mold. Employed very early in his career, this 1968 game used Baltimore Orioles white flannel button-front home jersey was used by Johnson and features moderate game-use including scattered staining. The front of the jersey features "Orioles 15" on the front in the same fashion as "Johnson 15" appears on reverse. The Wilson size 40 jersey features "68 Set 1" in black felt on the left tail, and the neck is signed by Johnson in blue marker ("7-8"). Brown and orange piping lines the collar and the sleeves. Phil Wood LOA for game use. Auction LOA for signature.
