Graded EX 5 by PSA. Monumental 1951 Bowman Baseball #253 Mickey Mantle rookie card! This high number presents much nicer than when typically encountered as early Mantle examples were typically well handled by their young admirers. Exhibits proper centering with slight corner wear and off-white edges. The surface registration is perfectly contrasted against a cloudy ballpark setting. While the reverse text displays slight fading, the overall presentation of this foundational Mantle debut piece is not seriously affected.
