Presented is a 1941 Play Ball Baseball Paper uncut 12-card sheet featuring a trio of Hall of Famers. With the outset of World War II, the 24-card issue was released to curb dependence on cardboard resources. The parallel was issued over two 12-card sheets and the offered example features the first dozen cards in the set. Despite incidental perimeter fraying, minimal wear and limited foxing, the surfaces remain bright and attractive. Keys include: #1 E. Miller, #6 Hubbell, #8 Ott and #10 Vaughan. A premier display piece!
