Six time all-star and two-time Gold Glove winner Don Kessinger wielded this weapon while playing for the Cubs during the 1973-1975 labeling period. The 35"/33oz. signature model bat has light use including ball and seam marks. The area to the left of the barrel is signed by Kessinger ("8-9") in Sharpie, the knob has the model number etched in as well as Kessinger's number "11" written on. A "U1" has been "Yosh-marked" on the barrel, meaning that it has been designated a game-used specimen by then-Cubs clubhouse manager Yosh Kiwano, a trait that makes the bat all the more desirable to collectors. LOA from Kim Stigall, Ballpark Heroes for bat. Auction LOA from JSA for signature.
