T206 “Big Four” Card! Graded Good 2 by PSA. Coming to the national stage this summer is the offered 1909-1911 T206 White Borders Sherry Magee (Magie) error flanked by a Piedmont 150 Subjects advertising back. Along with other T206 White Border rarities in Honus Wagner, Eddie Plank and Doyle NY Nat'l (Hands above Head), this acclaimed tobacco card perpetually ranks near the top of many advanced collector wantlists. Those who have made the 1909-11 T206 White Border series a lifelong pursuit usually conclude that the set is complete at (520/524) cards. However, this misspelling challenges that notion and is irresistible in any condition! The smiling Pennsylvania native is accurately centered with evenly worn corners and consistently aged edges. The bright player illustration is perfectly contrasted against a lovely olive backdrop. A slight crease tracing from near the lower left edge through Magee’s left shoulder and concluding at the “e” in his surname does not seriously impact the relic's overall presentation. The reverse displays strong blue advertising text and a microscopic dot of paper loss/pulling is detectable upon close inspection. A supremely attractive and seldom offered cornerstone!
