The Spokane Indians have had a long history of minor league baseball success, including runs in classes A, B, D, F, and AAA and are currently in class A-short season. This jacket and hat come from the 1973-78 time period, during which they were a triple A team affiliated with the Rangers and Brewers. The Wilson size 46 jacket features moderate to heavy wear including dirt marks and other forms of scattered wear. "Spokane" is stitched across the chest in white and the blue jacket includes blue and white piping around the collar and fringes. The Wilson tag in the neck has "35" written on in Sharpie and the button down garment is all original except for one replaced button that is white. The New Era medium/large hat features light wear, is purple and includes a red-on-white "SI" Indians logo.
Huggins and Scott is allowing the winning bidder 45 days from the date when payment is received to have the item independently authenticated. Payment must, however, be made within two weeks from the end of the auction. Huggins and Scott is not responsible for any authentication fees or shipping charges incurred by the winning bidder but H&S will refund the hammer price and buyer's premium if the item does not pass authentication with a reputable third party company.
