1961 was the rookie campaign for Bobby Bolin, who went 2-2 for the San Francisco Giants. This button-down flannel was worn during that season by Bolin, the longtime reliever/starter. The jersey has "Giants" across the chest in orange-on-brown twill in the same fashion as "42" appears on the reverse. The left tail is the location of a Wilson size 42 tag underneath which a black felt "1961" has been sewn on. There is evidence of a very small "team repair" of a hole in the inside left tail. Light game use.
