1984 was the rookie campaign for Wes Gardner, who began his career as a reliever for the New York Mets, posting a 1-1 record and an ERA of 6.39. This pinstriped home jersey has "Mets 27" and "Gardner 27" on the front and reverse respectively in orange-on-blue twill. The jersey shows moderate use and there is separation on the reverse, likely-changed nameplate. The neck is home to a Rawlings size 44 label, a 2" extra length tag, a SET 1 1984 flag tag and "27 44 1" sewn in the neck in blue. The sleeves feature blue and orange piping.
